A (approx.) 6x4" copy of an orignal painting by Mark Betson mounted on a 5x7" black cream greeting card with matching envelope.
Mark painted this painting while we were trading at Farmfest Festival in Somerset, which was much admired by all the festival goers. Mark was even called "Magical" which gave us a giggle!
"Arthur" is Marks interpretation of the Green man. The symbol of the eternal cycle of Nature, the mysterous figure who dies and is reborn each year. Mark claims that "Arthur" is looking into his own world.
However we knew this painting would'nt stay on our walls for long and was soon snapped up online on the Monday after we returned.
So now "Arthur" is available to purchase as a greeting card (or print).
Mark intends to continue with a series of Green men, aiming to do one for each letter of the alphabet, so look out for "Bruce" which apparently will have an aboriginal theme.
